Detailed Description
New xenon flasher for measuring bifacial solar cells: cetisPV-IUCT-BF
h.a.l.m. is pleased to introduce the class AAA xenon flasher to measure bifacial solar cells. The cetisPV-IUCT-BF provides the possibility to measure bifacial solar cells using different illumination levels for their rear and front side. Using two class AAA synchronized xenon flashers, flexible flash profiles can be applied within one measurement sequence. This enables the measurement under front and rear STC conditions, as well as typical field conditions for bifacial solar cells (e. g. 1,000 W m-2 (front) and 200 W m-2 (rear)). It comes with the well-known h.a.l.m. IV curve tracer enabling precise IV measurements under dark and various light conditions.
cetisPV-IUCT-BF is suitable for production and laboratory use. Combined with h.a.l.m.’s unique advanced-hysteresis measurement, it allows precise measurements on capacitive bifacial solar cells as well. The illumination intensity of both flashers is freely programmable; the light sources can also be used for single-flasher operations.
